Voter ID

Photo ID Requirements

North Carolina voters will be asked to show a photo ID when they vote. Most voters will use their NC Driver's License, but other forms of ID are accepted.

Don't have an ID? Any registered voter can get a free photo ID from their County Board of Elections or the NCDMV.

Your polling place on Election Day is based on your residential address. During Early Voting, you can vote at any early voting site in your county.
